In 1995, Heather Frankham founded Lifetime Training, taking it through every stage of a business, from start-up and scaleup, to selling, building the company to become the UK’s number one apprenticeship and skills training provider. When Heather exited Lifetime in 2016 it employed over 1000 staff, generating an EBITDA of over £15m. Heather is now actively developing and investing in a number of businesses including Origin Workspace. Located in Berkeley Square, Origin Workspace is 42,000 sq. ft. of newly renovated co-working space with community, collaboration and wellbeing at the heart of the concept. Heather is Non-Executive Chair at apprenticeship provider, Paragon Skills, having been a part of its turnaround in 2016. Heather is also the co-founder of Bud, an Ed Tech business focussed on the digitisation of apprenticeships. Established from the proceeds of the sale of Lifetime Training, the Frankham Family Charitable Trust invests money in predominantly Bristol-based charities with the mandate to help young people get off to the best possible start. Heather is a keen supporter of The Princes Trust and the Royal Foundation. Heather is also a Member and Investor in the Bristol Private Equity Club.
