Wine Wednesdays: Wine Wisdom
Following on from our pre-pandemic success in running a series of fun educational sessions on wine, we are starting a new series of interactive tutored tastings with wine experts titled ‘Wine Wisdom’.
The first Wine Wisdom Tasting will be hosted by Aidan Bell on Wednesday 25th May at 7pm.
Aidan Bell, one of our local wine experts and a partner at DBM wines is particularly knowledgeable about the wines of Bordeaux. For most of us choosing a good Bordeaux at a reasonable price is a difficult or impossible task. Aidan will explain some of the secrets of buying Bordeaux and how to identify those lesser-known but equally good wines, as well as the intricacies of purchasing ‘en primeur’. We will be tasting a range of wines from the Bordeaux region to include dry white, Bordeaux Superieur, Médoc, Haut Médoc, Listrac, Fronsac, Margaux & Pomerol.
