Max Sichel is the 7th generation of this famous wine company, founded in 1883 and still owned by the same family. Sichel built their reputation through selling ‘en primeur’ clarets but they have now moved into top-class wine making. Sichel own Chateaux d’Angludet, Argadens and Palmer (3eme Cru Classé Margaux) in Bordeaux along with extensive interests in areas such as Graves and Entre-deux-Mers. They have recently acquired the famous Chateau Trillol in Corbieres and also own several properties in the Languedoc.
Max’s background and expertise, in both making the wines and how they are sold/distributed worldwide, will provide a fascinating insight into the wines of Bordeaux.
