Producer Rob Pilley is a zoologist with more than 25 years of experience filming and handling wildlife across the globe always up close and personal. He specialises in innovative filming techniques and bespoke devices that take viewers right into the heart of an animal’s world, delivering thrilling science and extraordinary, unforgettable imagery.
From riding on the back of a venomous snake or a hunting eagle to dangling from a helicopter among migrating birds, Rob is known for pushing the boundaries of wildlife storytelling. His work has taken cameras and audiences to places rarely seen before. He is best known for producing and directing the BBC One Spy in the Wild series and, most recently, the BBC One David Attenborough series Mammals.
The talk will begin at 7pm, with arrival from 6.30pm. Following the talk, guests will enjoy a pie‑and‑mash main course, followed by cheeseboards. Each ticket includes half a bottle of wine.
