The Petrolheads invite you to join an unforgettable 11 day adventure through France and into Spain, culminating in a scenic ferry ride back to the UK. This trip is open to all Club members and their guests any vehicle welcome (not just classics!)

Itinerary Highlights (subject to final confirmation)
- Day 1 (Mon 11 May): Overnight in Portsmouth before the ferry.
- Day 2: Ferry to Cherbourg (08:30 departure, 14:15 arrival). Drive to Avranches (97 miles). Optional visit: Mont St Michel.
- Day 3: Head south to Nantes (168 miles). Optional stops: Rennes (Gothic cathedral, baroque squares) & St Nazaire (WWII submarine pens).
- Days 4–5: Two nights in Angoulême (180 miles). Explore Cognac country & Limoges pottery.
- Days 6–7: Two nights in Carcassonne (280 miles), a medieval walled city, vineyards. Alternative: Stay near Bordeaux if Carcassonne feels too far.
- Days 8–9: Two nights in Pau (175 miles through national parks), a Roman & medieval hilltop city with Pyrenees views.
- Day 10: San Sebastián (100 miles), the foodie capital of NW Spain.
- Day 11: Santander (125 miles). Ferry departs 16:00 (Pont Aven with onboard restaurant).
- Day 12 (Fri 22 May): Arrive Plymouth at 11:25.
