Sir John Royce:
Sir John Royce, a highly esteemed High Court Judge with a rich legal career. Sir John has overseen a diverse array of high profile cases, notably prosecuting former pop-star Gary Glitter in 1999, handling the 2009 Little Teds Nursery child abuse case involving Vanessa George, and the conviction and imprisonment of ex-Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins. Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace in 2002, his illustrious career has been characterised by a steadfast commitment to upholding justice and the rule of law.
While Sir John has previously hosted five special Club talks for Clifton Club Members, he will be joining Mike ‘on the sofa’ for a more casual interview (with plenty of opportunity for questions).
