‘Making Sense of AI’ Panel Event

21st April 2026 - 18:00 to 21:00

AI in Practice: What Business Leaders Actually Need to Know

A panel evening for Clifton Club Members and guests

We are delighted to invite members to an evening of straight-talking conversation about one of the most pressing topics on every business leader’s agenda right now: artificial intelligence, and what it actually means in practice for your business.

This is not a keynote about the future. It is not a sales pitch. It is a moderated panel discussion designed for founders, directors, and senior decision-makers who want clarity, not hype. If you are ready to have an honest conversation about the real opportunities, the real risks, and the real decisions that come with introducing AI and new technology into a growing business, this evening is for you.

The Conversation

Our panellists have been implementing and adopting what we now call AI long before the term entered the mainstream, across technology strategy, software delivery, design, and project delivery. Between them, they have worked across energy, legal, technology, Formula One, aerospace, and the creative industries. This is not a panel of observers. It is a panel of practitioners.

The evening will cover the questions that matter most to business owners right now. How do you know when your business is genuinely ready for AI? When does bringing in an outside partner make sense, and when does it not? Why do well-funded technology projects fail even when the technology works? And what does responsible governance of AI actually look like for a business of your size?

The Panel

Naz Keceli, CEO and Co-Founder, Khiliad (Facilitator and Panellist).
A lawyer by background, Naz leads strategy, growth, and operations at Khiliad. She brings a uniquely grounded perspective on AI governance, legal risk, and what responsible technology adoption looks like for businesses operating in regulated environments.

Jimmy Skowronski, CTO and Co-Founder, Khiliad
Technology strategist and digital transformation adviser with nearly 30 years of software delivery experience, including embedded consulting at McKinsey, IBM, BP, and Uniper.

Vijay Patel, Founder and Owner, Envivo
Digital transformation and bespoke software specialist with over 25 years of delivery experience, including 15 years at the sharp end of Formula-class motorsport.

Lily Videnova, UX and Service Design Leader, Waldo
MSc in Human-Computer Interaction from UCL. Lily works with founders and established businesses to ensure technology is designed for the people who actually use it.

Farra Wan Muhaimin, Technology Project Manager
Specialising in the delivery of digital solutions that connect technology directly to commercial outcomes, with a background in engineering and experience driving strategic initiatives from concept to execution across complex environments.

Who Should Attend

This evening is for SME owners, founders, and directors with technology decisions ahead of them. It is for senior leaders in professional services, engineering, financial services, and beyond who want a grounded perspective from people who have done the work, not a consultant’s slide deck.

Whether you are yet to begin your AI journey or have already had a project that did not go as planned, there will be something in this conversation that is directly relevant to where your business is right now.
