D-Day 80th Anniversary Dinner

6th June 2024 - 18:00 to 22:00

Join us on Thursday 6th June, as we commemorate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day at The Clifton Club.

Begin the evening with a warm welcome and enjoy the nostalgic melodies of the 1940s performed live by The Dixie Bells, setting the tone for a memorable evening. As we honour the courage and sacrifices of those who fought for our freedom, we will observe a moment of silence, followed by the Club Draw. Indulge in a thoughtfully curated three-course themed dinner, meticulously prepared by our talented Head Chef Wragg, reminiscent of the 1940s era, followed by tea & coffee.

Retired RAF Navigator and historian, Baz Hamblin, will share captivating insights into D-Day and his own personal experiences working in the Royal Air Force after the dinner during a 45 minute talk.

Price: Members £60pp / Non-Members £65pp
