Martin Williams: Head of Nature Connection at Belmont Estate Martin Williams is on a mission to change the world by bringing hope to people in an age of eco-anxiety.
As the Head of Nature Connection at Belmont, he is dedicated to helping people understand their natural surroundings and fostering a deeper connection to nature that inspires a love for and commitment to protecting the planet.
Before Belmont, Martin spent many years as a Geography teacher in the UK and abroad. Leading school expeditions to far-flung destinations, including trekking to K2 in Pakistan, climbing volcanoes in Ecuador, and diving in Madagascar, he experienced firsthand the combined local and global effects of climate change and rapid biodiversity loss. Ever the optimist, Martin decided to focus on storytelling to inspire change.
Martin is also a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a Climate Fresk Facilitator.
The closer we are to nature, the more inspired we will be to protect it. Come and find out why there has never been a better time to rewild our landscapes and ourselves. From rewilding and wetland creation to immersive nature connection experiences, Belmont Estate is helping to restore biodiversity, combat climate breakdown and reconnect people with nature.
The event starts at 11am and is complimentary for those guests that stay for brunch. Those that don’t will be charged £10 to their accounts. Guests pre order brunch on arrival and it will then be served after the talk finishes at noon.
