Vesper Ward – Business Owner
The daughter of career diplomats, Vesper’s early life was shaped by living internationally, political nuance and sensitivity the many different cultures she was exposed to. Her upbringing helped developed a deep sense of duty and service along with a strong work ethic. Returning to the UK when her parents retired, she started her working life in publishing, followed by a stint in management consultancy which led to a full time career in NHS management working herself up from the bottom to top to senior management.
Today, Vesper owns runs a boutique which is the go-to address in the Cotswolds for renting and buying extraordinary pieces of vintage clothing and accessories. The shop sells internationally and has a dedicated following amongst stylists and women across the world.
Vesper will share her experience of moving from the corporate world to running a small business, the vastly different cultures and knowledge required to do either job and the singular challenges of being a small shop owner.
