The benefits of membership extend outside the Club itself as we have reciprocal arrangements with other Private Members Clubs (see below) as well as accommodation links with Hotel du Vin, The Avon Gorge Hotel and The Rodney Hotel.

When joining the Club the annual fee becomes payable for a whole year. A one off joining fee of £120.00 is applicable to all new memberships,* £40.00 for junior members. An additional sum of £10 Inc VAT per person will be added for your Membership card.
Your attention is drawn to the requirements of Rule 10 which includes the following:
‘A member intending to withdraw from the Club must signify his/her intention in writing to the General Manager before the 1st of the month in which his subscription is payable, otherwise he/she shall be liable to pay his/her subscription for the current year whether he/she shall or shall have not made use of the club.’

Business - Smart business attire to include a Jacket for the Gentlemen, tie preferred but not mandatory. (Lounge Suit, Sports Jacket and Slacks etc)
Relaxed - To encompass ‘smart casual’ but members to respect the Club’s ethos of smartness and good taste. Jeans will be acceptable worn with a collared shirt. (‘Distressed’ Clothing ie ripped jeans, and Sports Clothing will not be acceptable)
Formal - This designation to be used when required for specific functions. Dinner suits for the gentlemen and evening wear for the ladies.
Should members or guests fail to adhere to the above code, a friendly word will be given without causing awkwardness and embarrassment.

Whether you wish to dine with business associates, friends or family, the restaurant provides the ideal setting in which to enjoy high quality cuisine. The lunchtime a la carte menu caters to a range of tastes and offers both modern and traditional dishes. click here to see one of our lunch menus.When dining at lunchtime you are able to sit with other members or reserve a private table in advance. Monthly members are invited to attend the Family Sunday Lunch where children and adults are warmly welcomed to enjoy the carvery.
In 2011, we introduced a new series of ‘Taster Dinners’ which have since proved to be extremely popular. At intervals throughout the year members and their guests are invited to enjoy seven courses of the finest dishes with carefully selected fine wines to complement each course. Spaces are limited to thirty-five and must be booked in advance.
If you wish to hold your own function at the Club, private dining is also available with 15% Membership discount on our menus, great room hire rates and discounted wines, exclusively for members.
