The Clifton Club today

We’ve come a long way in nearly 200 years, modernising over time but without losing our sense of history. Having recently undergone a complete refurbishment, the club looks much as it might have done in its heyday, but with a contemporary twist and up to date support services. The club building is probably one of the most beautiful in Bristol if not the whole of the South West and is situated in the centre of one of the cities most attractive areas.

In addition to its suite of historical rooms - an ornate Snooker & Billiards room, a Card Room, Drawing Room & Bar, Dining Room and Squash Courts, the club offers an eclectic range of benefits and activities from ‘Squash Ladders’, Pilates Classes, and a Classic Car Meet, to Book Clubs, Bridge Lessons and Cocktail Parties.

Membership gives you access to a global network of ‘reciprocal clubs’ in the UK, Europe, US, Africa, India and South East Asia, in addition to concessionary rates for the Clifton College Sports Club and Bristol & Clifton Golf Club.
